Star winter Challenge Results
This past weekend the Titans took nearly 80 swimmers to the STAR wintrer challenge meet. We walked away with a ton of best times, some new Silver and Gold qualifiers.We are getting into championship season and the kids look ready to go!
Stroke Development brought one swimmer, Jake Olson, who experienced his first meet at ECC! He swam two events and dropped six seconds in his 50 freestyle! Awesome job Jake!
Level 1 had a small but mighty group of 5 swimmers that swam a total of 18 events! Mia Kaczmarek celebrated her first ECC meet by swimming 6 new events and crushing them! Sage Krishna also did an awesome job at his first meet and swam two events. We saw a lot of awesome swims, some including the best times of Kasey Heelan who dropped almost 9 seconds in his 50 free, Khloe Kibby who swam a best time in the 50 back by 7 seconds and Grace Macro who dropped over 10 seconds in her events! Everyone’s hard work is noticed by the coaches; keep it up!
For the Star Winter challenge both levels 3 and 4 came ready to swim. Both groups combined had a total of 34 best times! Aside from the best times the kids brought positive attitudes and were great with warming up and warming down. For some this was their first meet and their teammates made sure to help ease the nerves. Level 3 swimmers Jackie Adams, Milli Krishna, Lexi Carter, Josie Welsh, Michael Caccamise, Kaia Heelan, Autumn Johnson, and Gabby Wild challenged themselves with new events like 200 IM's and 200 freestyles. We were so excited to see them swim these events. Level 4 swimmers Max Carter, Ari Sanders, and Kaitlyn Forphal stepped up and swam new events. Max swam his first 500 freestyle!
Levels 5 and 6 our swimmers came excited to drop time, combined they had a total of 24 best times! Level 5 swimmers Ellie Homish, Megan Huffnagel, Issac King, Andrew Morse and Elise Muffoletto overcame many tough swims! Issac swam his first 500 freestyle and Elise swam 12 events total! Level 6 swimmers Roane George, Reese Marcyan, Brynn Muffoletto, Josie Russom, and Abby Szyprowski all stepped up with new swims or many best times. Both 5 and 6 had great meets and we are excited to see them swim at silver and gold meets!
