14 and Under Results
The 14 and under Niagara LSC Championships took place in Webster NY March 18th to the 20th. Thirty-six fantastic Titans represented the team in the preliminary / finals event. These swimmers put together nearly 125 personal best times, 30 amazing relays, and eight 14 and under Eastern Zone Cuts. For the first time, the 11 and older swimmers top 30 were able to return to finals and we saw the Titans take full advantage of these opportunities adding numerous faster finals swims! Work and dedication were required to reach this level and we are proud of all the effort it took to get here. Thanks to all our amazing swimmers, dedicated parents, and all our coaches who worked so hard this season.
The 10 and under WONDER group was small but powerful! Mili Krishna, Anthony Lizauckas, Elizabeth Homish, Elise Muffoletto, and Khalil Voelker came to swim fast and have some fun! They piled up 27 personal best times, 24 top 20 finishes, 18 top 10 podium performances, and 1 amazing relay! Not even a flat tire on the way in could keep Mili Krishna from attending and swimming 3 new personal best times and helping our relay finish 4th overall. Tony Lizauckas came early Friday to help our 12 and under boys 400 Free Relay and crushed his 100 Breast time by over 8 seconds. Elizabeth Homish swam best times every time going 8 for 8 with 4 top 10 finishes! Elise Muffoletto swam with great determination piling up 7 best times and 6 top 10 finishes. Khalil Voelker was on her game, tallying 7 personal bests and 7 top ten finishes, 3 second place finishes, giving the team 148 points! Congratulations to all the ten and under swimmers on a fantastic meet!
The 11- 12 age groups sent 15 incredible swimmers to the meet totaling up 77 personal bests, 50 top 30 finishes, 16 top ten finishes, 2 Niagara Champions, and 2 Easter Zone Cuts times. Anne Boscarino, Ryan Bronson, Julia Cabin, Maximus Carter, Andre Charlier, Keira Curvin, Matt Cwiklinski, Grace Griffin, Isaac King, Reese Marcyan, Gavin Miller, Brynn Muffoletto, Lucy Nudell, Josephine Russom, and Kylie Szaflarski were all amazing! Anne Boscarino swam and amazing 6 for 6 best times and helped on all the relays. Ryan Bronson was our top scorer in the 11 -12 ager group, making finals in every event, amassing 7 top 8 finishes as well as pitching in on all the relays! Julia Cabin had a phenomenal meet with 5 finals appearances and best times in evert event! Maximus Carter was our only level 4 swimmer at the meet, he pitched in on all the relays, and crushed his 50 Breast best time by over 2 seconds. Andre Charlier was tuff all weekend with top 30 finishes in every event finishing the meet with a top 10 finish in the 50 Fly. Keira Curvin put in a great effort swimming 4 best times, helped on all the relays and won an very exciting swim off in the 50 back with a best time! Matt Cwiklinski, our only Level 2 Swimmer, came up as a relay only swimmer to help our boys place 11th in the 200 free Relay and 6th in the 200 Medley Relay swimming best times in each! Grace Griffin swam 8 personal best times, 2 Eastern Zone cut times, was crowned Niagara District Champion in the 50 and 100 Breaststrokes and swam every relay we had! Isaac King was there all weekend with a great attitude cheering his teammates on and swimming fast, tallying up 2 more best times, helped all the relays and finished off the meet with a final’s appearance in the 100 Back! Reese Marcyan added 2 more best times to her season total, helped on 2 of our relays and finished the meet with a final’s appearance in her 50 breaststroke! Gavin Miller made the trip to Webster on Saturday night to cheer on his teammates and then went to work on Sunday swimming best times in both of his individual events and best times in both of his relays! Brynn Muffoletto swam best times in her 50 free, 50 back and was in the stands cheering on her sister through the afternoon 10 and under sessions! Lucy Nudell swam personal bests 6 times in her individual event and relays making finals in her 200 IM and 100 Back! Josephine Russom had 6 best times and five finals appearances as well as helping on relays with some amazing swims! Kylie Szaflarski swam with great effort pitching in on the relays and making finals in the 50 and 100 fly! Fantastic job to all the 11-12 swimmers!
The 13 – 14 age group had 16 swimmers attend the meet. Ari Sidor came down to swim relays and lead off the 200 free relay with a NI championship cut time. Meredith Roberts had 4 personal best time before breaking a toe in a freak accident, Kerrington Clouser also posted 4 personal best time, Emma Cwiklinski posted 5 personal best time, Brady Garcia posted 8 personal best times and qualified for zones in the 400IM, Seasn Labiak posted 9 persoanl best times and leading off the relays with a strong starts, Heather Malkiewicz posted 3 personal best times, Campbell Murphy posted 9 persoanl best times and giving us a strong lead of in the free relays, Delilah Winker, Natalia Ashworth, Charlie Lorenz, and Erin Morrissey all posted 2 personal best times each. Juliana Haacker swam best times in her 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke, 200 free, made finals in 2 events and pitched in on the relays! Rowan Riley swam personal bests in the 100 back and 100 free and helped on the 200 Free relay!
