East Aurora Open Swim Meet
The Titans attended the East Aurora Open Swim Meet on Saturday November 4th. We had 25 swimmers from Levels 1 through 6 in attendance swimming fast and having fun! The first session had the 10 and under swimmers doing their very best in the morning! The afternoon session saw our 11-12 girls and our 13 and over boys & girls doing the same! We had so many great swims all day, it made the 10 hours on deck go by fast! Thanks to all who came and swam so well. A special thanks to our Titan Officials who volunteered their time on deck, it was great to see us represented in this way! We had 46 personal bests, 7 new swims, 23 silver times, 10 Gold times, and 2 awesome 1st place relays!
Level 1 saw an amazing effort by Harper Marks with 3 new swims in the 25 Free, Breast and Back! Charlotte Mertz had a fantastic 50 fee and super 25 free! Finally, Lucas Michalowski put in great effort all day swimming 4 events with a nearly 7 second drop in his 25 back! Way to go Level 1 swimmers!
Level 2 had tremendous swims by a fantastic 4 group. Collins Bryant swam 4 events with personal best in the 25 breast and 25 fly! Ariana Gomes also had 4 great races adding 3 more personal bests to our total! Valerie Mattison had 2 personal bests in her 25 back and 50 free and did great in our winning relay! While Mia Stratford added 3 personal bests in her 25 Back, Breast, and Free! Outstanding job!
Level 3 was amazing with six Titans from the group in attendance. Alexis Carter went 2 for 2 personal bests in her 100 Breast and 100 free! Amelia D'Avirro had 4 personal bests and a silver cut in her 50 free lead off swim of our relay! Evelyn Dickerson had a great day with personal bests and Silver times in her 50 and 100 frees as well as a tremendous swim in the 1st place relay! Derek Hufnagel did a great job adding 2 more personal bests in his 50 free and 50 breast and had 2 silver times achieved in the 50 free and 50 Back! Khloe Kibby had a busy day with 300 yards of great racing in her 4 events! Joseph Krieger finishes up our level 3 swimmers with a super day adding 3 more personal bests and 2 Silver times to our total! Keep up the great work Level 3!
Level 4 had standout performances by Josephine Welsch, our only representative. She could do no wrong in the East Aurora pool, going 3 for 3 all personal bests with a Silver time in the 50 Free!
Level 5 was represented well by 2 strong swimmers. Nora Bronson had all Gold times in her 3 swims adding two more personal bests in her 50 fly and 100 IM and was a strong anchor swim on our triumphant 200 Free Relay! Noah D'Avirro has discovered what hard work at practice does, 4 for 4 all best times in his 100 free, back and IM and he broke the 30 second barrier in the 50 free! Congratulations to you both!
Level 6 had incredible performances by all! Nine of these Titans came ready to swim! Maximus Carter went 4 for 4 all Silver times adding 2 personal bests to the total! Kaitlyn Forpahl put in 4 great efforts with a nearly 4 second drop in her 100 back! Elizabeth Homish swam strong with 2 Gold, 1 Silver and a personal best in the 100 Breast! Megan Hufnagel had 2 Gold swims with a personal best in the 100 Back! Tessa Michalowski did fantastically with all personal bests and Silver times in her 3 events! Brynn Muffoletto went 3 for 4 personal bests and a Silver time in her 50 free! Elise Muffoletto had all Silver times in her 4 swims with a 4 second drop in the 100 Breast! Jayce Sinatra had a great day with 4 strong swims and an amazing 7 second drop in the 100 fly! Khalil Voelker continues to swim at a high level with 2 Gold and a Silver cut in the meet. The fearsome foursome of Elise Muffoletto, Megan Hufnagel, Elizabeth Homish, and Khali Voelker pulled together at the end of the meet to win the 11-12 200 Free Relay!
Great job to all! Swimming all those practices and putting in the great efforts is paying off!
