Niagara Qualifier results
The Niagara Silver Championship meet hosted by the Titans at the Aquatic Center February 23rd through the 25th was a huge success! Thank you to all who help make this another great meet hosted by the Titans! We had 57 amazing swimmers from Levels 3 to 8 do a fantastic job in this “cut time” prelim/finals meet. We piled up nearly 180 personal bests, nearly 50 new new Gold cuts, more Silver cuts, THREE high point winners, and won the meet overall by over 350 points!
Level 3 had a fantastic silvers meet! Joey Bennett ad three fantastic swims, dropping a whopping 9.5 seconds in the 50 back! Amelia D’Avirro dropped over 2 seconds in both her 50 back and 50 fly! Val Pattison swam 4 incredible swims, dropping in all of her events! Wyatt Pavon showed up to swim fast this past weekend, dropping in all 4 of his events, and 9 whole seconds in the 100 IM, WOW! Agnes Pendley swam an amazing meet, showing up strong in all 4 of her events! Great swimming, level 3!
Level 4 sent six swimmers to this one and they did a great job showing off how well they can do the little things! Sixteen personal bests, 18 Silver times, 5 new Gold times, outstanding relay efforts, and some amazing attitudes on deck! Emilia Dewey swam strong with 2 personal bests dropping over 7 seconds in her 100 Back. Abigail Krempa went 3 for 3 personal best 2 of them being Gold Cuts! Joseph Krieger posted 5 personal bests with 3 of them as Gold swims! Jeffrey Li had 4 more personal bests winning the 50 Breast! Evan Matesic had an amazing 50 free in the relay and his first opportunities at Finals racing, swimming his personal best at night in the 100 Free. Rosie Pashler had 3 strong efforts with a personal best in her 50 Back. Congratulations to all!
Level 5 had an amazing Silvers meet! A small but mighty bunch, we saw some amazing improvements! Jackie Adams dropped in 3 of her events, including the 50 back and the 50 fly! Bianca swam a great meet, making it back to finals both nights and dropping a whole 3 seconds in her 100 back, awesome stuff! Nora Pashler had a fantastic and busy meet, swimming all of her events in prelims and finals! She dropped time every single time she swam! Incredible swimming! Level 6 sent an amazing group to this meet. We had thirteen Titans representing us at the meet amassing 70 personal bests, 61 Silver cuts, 22 Gold cut times, a High Point Winner, and amazing relay efforts! Maximus Carter could do no wrong swimming all personal bests, 7 Silver times, 4 Gold times, and 2 amazing relay efforts. Matthew Cwiklinski swam tuff with 6 personal bests, and a Gold cut in the 200 Fly! Noah D'Avirro went 7 for 7 personal bests dropping nearly 30 seconds in total in his swims! Elizabeth Homish was yet another Titans swimming all personal bests with 3 more Gold Times and a great relay effort! Megan Hufnagel swam 9 personal bests, 10 Gold Times, 2 amazing Relay swims and won the 11-12 Girls High Point award! Isaac King was also perfect in his swims all 5 personal bests, swimming faster in both of his final appearances! James Lyons swam 8 personal bests with a Gold cut in his 100 Breaststroke! Tessa Michalowski, another Level 6 swimmer who swam personal bests every swim had 4 more to add to the total. Brynn Muffoletto added another 4 personal bests to our total with a fantastic final’s appearance in her 200 Back. Elise Muffoletto also had 4 more personal bests with 2 super relay swims. Lannen Pawelek had a finals appearance in his 100 Back dropping over 3 seconds from his prelims swim. Lucy Pendley continued the trend with 4 more personal bests swimming at Finals in her 50 & 100 Frees! Khalil Voelker added 5 more personal bests, 3 Gold Times, won the 200 Back, and had 2 great relay swims. Super Swimming Level 6!
Level 7-8 had an amazing weekend. From start to finish everyone competed at a real high level amassing 129 best times and nearly 40 new gold cuts. Congrats the Harrison Roberts and Lucy Nuddell on winning High Point in their respective age groups. Lucy Nudell 11 personal best and 4 more Gold cuts, Harrison Roberts 10 PB and 5 Gold cuts, Gavin Miller 8 personal best and 4 Gold times, Duke Neal 7 personal best and 4 new Gold times, Bri Rejewski 4 best times and 3 more Gold cuts, Joey Tacca 7 personal best and 2 new Gold times, Ava Riehler 8 PB and 2 gold cuts, Emma Wagner 5 personal best and 1 new gold time, Sydney Yost, Lucia Santiago 7 personal best swims, Amelia Pashler, Roane George, Abby Szyprowski 5 best times, Kylie Szaflarski, Erin Morrissey 4 personal best, Julia Cabin, Lily Bovanizer, Julianna Haacker, Nick Lesmiester, Heather Malkiewicz 3 personal best, Reese Marcyan 2 persoanl best, Kerrington Clouser and Paige Glor 1 event, 1 best time and 1NI cut, Andre Charlier 3 more Gold cuts and Maddy Scibetta fiished 2nd in the 15-18 high point race and swimming the most distance over the course of the meet. Swimming events from the 50 free to the 1650Fr. Great work everyone is was awesome as a coach to watch you race and succeed the way you did.
