14 and under Gold Championships
The Titans Traveled to Webster again for the Niagara LSC 14 & Under Gold Championships. The team sent 24 swimmers to the three-day prelims/finals meet. We had a fantastic weekend of swimming with numerous personal bests, more Eastern Zone Cuts, a 31-year-old record was shattered, a ton of team spirit and a bunch of great relays! Swimmers from Level 4 to 7 were able to pile up enough points for a 6th place finish in the meet! Congratulations to all who came and did so well!
Our 10 and under wonders were amazing! All six of these amazing Titans had a great weekend of racing! Nora Bronson was a perfect 6 for 6 all best times finishing in the top 10 in all her events! Vivienne Cabin had a fantastic meet with all top 10 finishes and personal bests in the 200 IM 100 IM and 50 breast. Emilia Dewey was also able to go a perfect 6 for 6 all personal best times. Abigail Krempa swam 4 more personal best times and a top ten finish in the 50 back. Joseph Krieger did superbly all weekend with 5 more personal bests and 3 top 20 finishes. Jeffrey Li swam strong all weekend and posted 2 more personal bests. These six swimmers teamed up for 5 amazing relays swimming to all top 10 finishes winning the 200 Medley Relay on the girl’s side! Congratulations!
The 11-12 age group was well represented by four incredible ladies. They worked together to swim 4 relays placing in the top 15 for all of them. Avery Conschafter had a great meet swimming personal bests in her 50 free and helping out on all of our relays! Amazingly, Elizabeth Homish had 9 personal best swims in the prelim / finals format, finishing in the top 6 in all but the 1 event that she raced in the 14 and under category finishing 11th! Emily Masker put together another great meet with 5 finals appearances and 4 personal best swims. Elise Muffoletto swam 7 personal best times and was super strong on all our relays. Way to go ladies.
The 13-14 age group had Andre Charlier break a 31 year old 200 Fly record and improved in 3 other events, Grant Benedict swam his first Champinship posting best time in the 100 free, Ryan Bronson coming of injury recorded 3 out 4 events with a best times. Julia Cabin looking more efficient in her swims posted 3 new best times, Max Carter and Gavin Miller still holding on to rest after HS season posted more best times from their awesome silvers meet, Matt Cwiklinski was 4 for 4 in improvements in his events, James Lyons posted 2 personal best swims, Duke neal posted 6 of 7 personal best times in his events, Lucy Nudel had 4 of 6 events record best times and just off zone cut in the 200 back. Noah D'Avirro and Lucia Santiago came as relay only swimmers and posted best times leading of the relays. Thanks to Issac King and Lucy Pendly for also participating in the relays to help our team be as successful as would could this weekend. Great meet and Good luck to Andre, Duke and Eli at Zones!!!
