STAR KICK OFF results
Last weekend the Titans swam at ECC at the STAR Long Course Kick Off Meet. We sixteen 12 and under swimmers attend the meet and lots of personal best swims. Our swimmers achieved 12 Niagara Championships cuts and 16 Championships Qualifier cuts. We had swimmers attend all 3 sessions available to them and they did a great job in all their events.
We had some great swims starting with Level 3. We saw great swims from Amelia D’Avirro, Collins Bryant, and Valarie Mattison each of them getting personal bests. Amelia and Val also achieved championship qualifier times. Level 4 had Harlow Martinez, who swam 6 events getting 4 personal bests 5 championships qualifier times and one Niagara golds championship time! Way to go Harlow! Level 5 saw impressive swims from Nora Bronson and Emmy Dewey who both achieved championship qualifier times and multiple personal bests. Lastly Level 6 saw great swims from Elise Muffoletto and Kali Voelker. Elise during the Sunday session went 3 for 3 with gold times and personal bests, while Kali added a gold cut as well. Great swimming ladies! Good job to all of our Titans swimmers as we look forward to our next meet in Webster.
Titans had twenty 13 and over swimmers attend the meet. This age group had the opportunity to swim Prelims and Finals during the 3 days of this meet. We had a large number of kids that took advantage of the opportunity and had great success. Andre Charlier posted all personal best times and broke Titans record in the 50 Fly and 100 Fly. Duke Neal also posted all personal best and qualified for Zones in the 100 breast. Lucy Pendely also had all personal best, got a chance to swim the 800free and dropped 48 sec to achieve a NI time. Charolette Balcom, Lucy Balcom, Megan Huffnagel, Brynn Muffoletto, Natalie DeCourcey, Lucy Nudell, Ryan Bronson, Matt Cwiklinski also posted nearly all persoanl best. Chloe Marcyan posted a strong 400IM prelim time, Atticus Hlublin won the 100 breast with personal best time and Alex Schuler finals in both 200 back and 200 IM with personal best times. Harrison Roberts, Sal Galioto, Tess Michalowski, and Emma Cwiklinski all posted personal best times. This was a very strong meet for this group and very excited about their progress over the last 2 weeks.
