Super Circuit #3
The Titans made a day trip to Webster’s Aquatic Center on Sunday June 23rd to take advantage of some more Long Course race opportunities. Twenty-four Titans from Levels 1 through 8 attended the one-day meet. We saw some great progress in our racing and our endurance as the team piled up more personal bests, a large number of new swims, and more NI Long Course Championship cuts! Thanks to all who made the trip, volunteered to times, and swam so well.
Ten of our twelve and under swimmers made the trip down the 90 eastbound to swim events ranging from the 50 free to the 200 IM. They piled up 17 personal bests, 2 new swims, 6 Gold cuts, 9 Silver cuts, and ZERO disqualifications! Collins Brant had 3 strong swims in her 50 free, back and fly. Lexi Carter had a phenomenal meet going 3 for 3 all best times dropping almost a minute in total times from her last year’s swims! Amelia D’Avirro put in great efforts in her 50 free, 100 back and 50 back. Emmy Dewey was amazing with 3 more personal best times and 3 Gold swims! Ellie Homish had a strong showing with 2 personal bests and 3 Gold swims. Khloe Kibby had a personal best in the 50 free and great swims in the 200 IM and 50 fly. Val Mattison went 3 for 3 all personal bests and 2 Silver cuts in her events. Lucas Michalowski did a great job in his first-time swim in the 50-meter free. Audrey Nudell continues to work hard and swam right at her times in all 3 swims. Agnes Pendley swam 2 personal bests and achieved a silver cut in the 100 back. Nice work!
13 and over swimmers had an opportunity to get some race practice in. In doing so they were able to should their improvements over the last 2 weeks. Allison Schuler had 2 persaonl best, Ryan Bronson dropped in the 100 free and PB the 200Fly, Max Carter PB in 100 Back, Matt Cwiklinski dropped 21 sec in the 200IM, Noah D'Avirro had 2 personal best, megan Hufnagel dropped in the 100 back, Lucy Nudell had a PB in the 200IM, Tessa Michalowski posted 2 personal best, Lucy Pendley had 2 more personal best, Erik Parkes and Alex Schuler also posted 2 more personal best swims. Emma Cwiklinski and Chloe Marcyan also had strong swims just off PB times and gained great race knowledge. Looking forward to more swims this weekend and then getting ready for Champs!
