Titans end on high note at the End of Summer Meet
We had an amazing finish to the 2024 season hosting the Titans End of Summer Meet at the AFC! With 119 Titans swimming in their “home pool” we put on a tremendous show! The meet was a hot one and we are especially thankful for all our parent volunteers and official wo helped us weather through the meet.
We had 13 swimmers attend the end of summer meet from stroke development and level 1! Almost all of them made their titans debut at this meet, everyone did an outstanding job.
We had 7 swimmers from stroke development attend and they all did a great job! Some highlight swimmers were Mikyala Hennessy who swam 4 events over both days and did a great job in all four! Some other great swims came from Maggie Muffoletto and Madelyn Wright who swam four and five events respectively! Lastly we had Ellis Boyle who swam four events including both the 50 freestyle and 50 backstroke! Great job to all of our swimmers.
Level 1 had 6 swimmers attend and they did a great job at the meet! Vivianna Mott had a busy two days with swimming 7 events and did a great job with all of them. Some other highlights were Gracie Wright and Sammy Bennett who swam 5 events over the two day meet and had great swims in everything! Congratulations to all our swimmers who attended the meet and a great finish to the season!
We had 8 titans represent for Level 2! With 22 new events, 11 best times and 1 silvers qualifying time! 22 new events is really exciting to see. Watching them improve and feel more confident in their technique and seeing them venture out and try new things is a big part of what Level 2 is all about. Contributing to all of the best times mentioned above were Lily Bedford in the 50 and 100 Freestyle as well as the 50 Backstroke. Paul Dalbo in the 25,50 and 100 Freestyle as well as the 25 Breaststroke and the 25 Backstroke. James DeWitt in the 50 Breaststroke. Clara Kartychak in the 50 Backstroke and 100 Freestyle and Michael Kartychak in the 100 Freestyle. Congratulations to all these amazing swimmers! A special congratulations to Paul Dalbo for achieving a silvers cut time in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 2:04.35! This was also Paul’s first time swimming the event! Way to go Paul! Congratulations and thank you to all of the Level 2 swimmers this season!
Level 3 had 15 Titans in attendance piling up 35 new personal best times, 33 new events, and 14 Silver cuts times! Superb! Several Level 3 swimmers received best times for every event they swam over the course of the weekend- congratulations to Aislynn Almeter, Evelyn Domagala, Khloe Kibby, Samantha O'Connor, and Emme Pauly! Amelia D'Avirro and Agnes Pendley both added 5 personal bests to our total. Amelia also received a total of 4 silver cut times! Valerie Mattison added 4 personal bests and 3 silver times. Joseph Bennett and Collins Bryant both received two personal bests and a silver time as well! Five swimmers tried all their events for the first time and totally crushed it, congratulations to Vivian Bordonaro, Elizabeth Burger, Miya Kaczmarek, Payton May, and Mia Stratford! Level 3 swimmers did an excellent job! Your hard work has paid off!
Level 4 was represented by 12 amazing Titans! 36 personal best times, 29 new swims, 9 Silver times, and 13 Gold times! Congratulations to Evelyn Dickerson, Derek Hufnagel, Audrey Nudell, Eva Sutherland, Laila Tomsic, and Anthony Wild for getting best times in every single event! What an accomplishment! Another big celebration for our swimmers who tried all of their events for the first time, congrats Harlow Martinez, Brayden May, Sophie Stimson, and Logan Turnbull! Joseph Krieger with two personal bests and Anthony Wild with four, both obtained two silver cut times. Alexis Carter added 5 personal best times. Audrey, Brayden, and Harlow all posted 4 gold times! Fantastic job level 4!
Level 5 had 16 Titans in attendance piling up 73 new personal best times, 13 new events , 19 Silver cuts, and 13 Gold cut times! AMAZING! Several Level 5 swimmers could do no wrong in the AFC pool swimming best times evert time- congratulations to Jacqueline Adams, Nora Bronson, Alexander Caccamise, Brigid Connors, Emilia Dewey, Sal Galioto, Madison Hayes, Josie Lyons, Lilah Pawelek, Lola Schimmelpenninck, and Gabriella Wild for achieving this truly difficult task! Sofia Burns added 5 personal bests to our total. Vivienne Cabin posted 4 Gold times with three more best times. Michael Caccamise went 3 for 4 personal bests. Abigail Krempa swam 5 personal best times. Niyantri Sriram had 2 more personal bests for the team. With the 2023/2024 season finished and the next season right ahead, Level 5 swimmers have a lot to be proud of and look forward to!
Level 6 was represented by10 terrific Titans! Forty-seven personal best times, 14 new swims, 9 Silver times, 6 Gold times, and a bunch of awesome efforts were seen both days of the meet. Charlotte Balcom had 7 personal bests. Lucas Castelo Barnum swam strong adding 3 more best times to the total. Avery Conschafter had 8 best times in a strong meet. Kaitlyn Forpahl went 3 for 3 all best times! Tessa Michalowski swam strong with 7 personal best times. Elise Muffoletto was solid with 6 personal bests and 5 gold times. Lannen Pawelek brought some great efforts in his 4 personal bests. Sathvika Sriram had some fun in het swims, 2 more best times to her list. William Taylor was great both days with4 best times and a great first time swim in the 200 Free. Annabelle Vandriel swam 1 day with a 4 for 4 best times effort! Congratulation to all of Level 6 for a wonderful season.
Level 7-8 sent 43 swimmer to the end of summer meet. Posting 144 best times, Numerous new NI and CQ cuts and Congrats to Atticus Hlublin on qualifying for Futures and breaking the team record in the 100 Breaststroke.
It was great to see kids swim the meet that noramlly we dont see at meets and seeing their improvements, posting personal best and gaining the confidence going forward. The goup has had a amazing summer!! I look forward to the upcoming SC season and continuing to watch the growth of the current group as well as those that will be joining us from Level 6 in the fall. Have a great rest of the summer, you deserve it!
