Titans Shine at NI Championship
The Titans put in a tremendous showing at the 2024 Niagara Long Course Championship Meet finishing 4th overall! We had three and a half days of great competition, cheering, and fast swims! Congratulations to all and thanks to all our volunteers that stepped up to help time and officiate the meet! We “locked it in” and pumped out numerous personal bests, over 100 top 16 finishes, 2 Titan Team Records, 3 Zone qualiifers, and some truly amazing relay efforts!
The 12 and under swimmers did us proud with nine terrific Titans in attendance all swimming with tremendous effort and determination! Nora Bronson swam 4 great events crushing her personal best in the 100 Breaststroke by over 2 seconds and narrowly missed finals in 2 of her events. Vivienne Cabin had a super championship with personal bests in 4 swims finishing in the top 7 in all 6! Emilia Dewey went 5 for 6 personal bests finishing in the top 9 in all 6 events! Elizabeth Homish swam strong in her 4 events, making finals in all of them with 4 personal bests as well! Joseph Krieger was amazing all weekend with personal bests in all 6 events and top 12 finishes in all too! Harlow Martinez was great with her swims and her cheering she added 4 more best times to our total! Brayden May came for 2 events destroying his personal bests in both as well as finishing top8 in both! Elise Muffoletto swam strong in her 4 events with 3 best times and a finals appearance in her 50 back! Audrey Nudell swam with grit and determination right at her best times adding 3 more top 16 finishes. Maya Sengupta came for 1 swim and made the most of it with a personal best and a 9th place finish in the 50 breast! The 10 & wonder relays were amazing! The 4 ladies, Vivienne Cabin, Emilia Dewey, Harlow Martinez, and Audrey Nudell swam 4 relays over the course of the championships finishing 2nd in the 400 Medley Relay, 3rd in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay, and finally TIED for 2nd in the 400 Free Relay on Sunday! AMAZING CHAMPIONSHIPS!
