The Titans ended the Short Course season with three amazing swimmers attending the 2024 Eastern Zone Short Course Age Group Championships in Webster NY March 27th – 30th. Andre Charlier, Elizabeth Homish, and Duke Neal represented the Titans at this elite level swim meet hosting nearly 200 teams and over 850 swimmers from all over the Eastern Seaboard. 14 and under Gold Championships The Titans Traveled to Webster again for the Niagara LSC 14 & Under Gold Championships. The team sent 24 swimmers to the three-day prelims/finals meet. We had a fantastic weekend of swimming with numerous personal bests, more Eastern Zone Cuts, a 31-year-old record was shattered, a ton of team spirit and a bunch of great relays! Titans showed up to the Niagara Open Championships ready to go! 30 swimmers combined for 82 personal best swims. 2 team records, 2 Future cuts, 2 additional NCSA cuts, 2 additional Speedo Sectional cuts and 3 Eastern Age Group Zone cuts. The Niagara Silver Championship meet hosted by the Titans at the Aquatic Center February 23rd through the 25th was a huge success! Thank you to all who help make this another great meet hosted by the Titans! We had 57 amazing swimmers from Levels 3 to 8 do a fantastic job in this “cut time” prelim/finals meet. The TWST Snowball Team Challenge We sent 32 swimmers to the meet with some amazing swims in the Orchard Park pool! These Titans racked in 51 personal bests, 30 Silver times, 10 Gold Times, and 16new Swims and only 1 DQ! That is amazing, Congratulations to all! The Titans attended the Star Winter Challenge the weekend of January 26th to 28th at ECC’s Flickinger Aquatic center. We sent 64 swimmers to the 3-day event swimming in events ranging from the 25 free to the 1650 free! The Titans made a trip through winter weather to Webster for the 2024 Niagara Power Point Championship Meet. This meet is the only meet that uses “Power Point” rankings for their highpoint awards. Every swim listed in the USA Swimming times database includes a Power Point value. This point system allows for comparison of the quality of performances across strokes, distances, and events, as well as between age groups. The power point scale ranges from 1 to 1100 points. The higher the points, the stronger you are in that event....
